About Warwickshire Business Club

The Warwickshire Business Club can trace its history back to the 1980’s when it was called the Henley-in-Arden Business Club. It was run by the local manager for West Bromwich Building Society. In the 1990’s the Henley-in-Arden solicitors Lodders took over the club and ran it as a lunch club.

In 2002 Bill Leech took over the club from Lodders and changed its name to South Warwickshire Business Club and by the middle of 2003, it was regularly attracting around 70 people to each meeting and the location was moved to the Henley-in-Arden Golf & Country Club, which could easily accommodate the numbers and had superb facilities. In September 2004 the club name was changed to the Warwickshire Business Club as members were joining from all parts of Warwickshire.

By 2008, the founder Bill Leech decided that it was the right time to hand over the baton so that new ideas could be introduced and the club was acquired by Simon Tiwari.  Bill agreed to remain as Chairman of the monthly network meetings.

The format of the meetings developed so that the Club became not only a serious opportunity for members to network, build business relationships and exchange business ideas but also established a convivial atmosphere for friendships to form.

The club meets on a monthly basis, normally on the fourth Thursday of each month. Members are encouraged to bring friends and business colleagues as guests. Potential new members are welcome to attend twice, paying only the meeting charge, before deciding if they wish to become members.

Please see our Events Page for full details of forthcoming meetings.
