proud to be networking since 1982

Why should I join the Warwickshire Business Club?

•  To promote your business

•  Make contact and establish new business relationships

•  Generate new income and increase profits

•  Relax, make friends and have fun

•  Provides an opportunity for you to make a presentation at one of our events to demonstrate your expertise

How do I get exposure for my business from the club?

Our networking events provide you with an ideal opportunity to promote and create brand awareness of your business to other attendees who can then effectively act as your “sales force”.

The club website provide a platform to publicise your website as well as what you do. On our members page [hyperlink], we hyperlink your website and there is the opportunity for you to submit articles for the resource page [hyperlink] and these articles, in turn, are also hyperlinked back to your website. And, as you know, the more links there are to your website, the higher up you will be on Google searches.

What are the membership fees and how much does it cost to attend an event?

With effect from 1st September 2009, membership is FREE. All you have to do is to attend one of the club’s networking events, hand in your business card and you’re a member. It’s as easy as that – no form filling and no membership fee to pay. The club does, however, reserve the right to refuse membership.

The cost of attending an event may vary - see the Events Page for details. Please note that payment is due prior to the event date. The event fee can be paid by cheque or by Paypal/Credit Card.

Do I have to be a member to come to one of your events?

No. You are very welcome to attend an event and see if the club is right for you. But please bear in mind that you cannot expect instant results from just attending once.

Can I bring along a guest?

Yes, with pleasure.

Is membership restricted to one per profession?

There are no membership restrictions … we just don’t believe in “one per profession” because we know that professionals in the same line of work do generate business for each other.

How frequently and when do you meet?

Our lunchtime networking events are held monthly, normally on the 3rd Thursday of each month between 12 noon and 2pm.  The format of the meetings consists of:

•  Intensive networking

•  Quality Lunch

•  Presentation on a topical business subject

From time to time, the club also holds business workshops, which will be publicised on the Events Page.

How many people attend the monthly meetings?

Although it varies from month to month, the numbers have been between 20 and 30 per meeting over the last year.

Can I do a presentation?

One of the benefits of membership is the opportunity to present on a business subject, but remembering that the presentation must be carefully chosen so as not to be a sales pitch.

Do I need to provide business leads at every meeting I attend?

No you don’t, you are never under pressure to provide leads as all this would do is reduce their quality. The important thing is to build relationships and trust … leads will follow accordingly.

Do I have to attend every meeting?

It is not essential to attend every monthly meeting but the opportunities to forge business relationships and ultimately generate business are increased considerably from consistent and regular attendance.

Is the Warwickshire Business Club a franchise?

No.
