"It isn't just what you know, and it isn't just who you know. It's actually who you know, who knows you, and what you do for a living."

Bob Burg

Please see our Events Page for full details of forthcoming meetings.  Members and guests attend these monthly meetings which are arranged around intensive networking, a quality lunch and a guest speaker giving a15 minute presentation on a business topic.

Everyone attending the meeting is asked to introduce themselves for 60 seconds. There is always a 15 minute presentation on a business subject and these presentations are carefully chosen so as not to be a sales pitch.  An attendance list for every networking meeting is circulated to everyone attending the meeting prior to the event.

Bookings for the next meeting can be made by posting a cheque with a booking form, and there is an option to pay by cheque or credit card.  For future meetings, go to the Events Page.

A Brief History

The Warwickshire Business Club can trace its history back to 1982 when it was called the Henley-in-Arden Business Club. It was run by the local manager for West Bromwich Building Society. In the 1990’s the Henley-in-Arden solicitors Lodders took over the club and ran it as a lunch club.

In 2002 Bill Leech took over the club from Lodders and changed its name to South Warwickshire Business Club.  In September 2004 the club name was changed to the Warwickshire Business Club as members were joining from all parts of Warwickshire.

By 2008, the founder Bill Leech decided that it was the right time to hand over the baton so that new ideas could be introduced and the club was acquired by Simon Tiwari.  Bill agreed to remain as Chairman of the monthly network meetings.

The format of the networking meetings developed so that the Club became not only a serious opportunity for members to network, build business relationships and exchange business ideas but also established a convivial atmosphere for friendships to form.

The club meets on a monthly basis, normally on the third Thursday of each month, at the Henley-in-Arden Golf and Country Club. The meetings commence at 12 o’clock noon and finish at around 2.00pm.

Warwickshire Business Club was established in 1982, which must make it one of the oldest networking clubs in the country. The club was set up as a networking forum for businessmen and women from the county. However, due to the club’s success and reputation, members and guests attending our events have come not only from the county but from across the Midlands.
